The amenities are yours — here's how to use them.
The pool, the gym and the Board Room are shared by the whole community. A few plain rules keep them safe, clean and open for everyone. The full rulebook lives in the House Rules.
The amenities are for the exclusive use and enjoyment of Solstice residents and their immediate dependents. Please look after them the way you would your own home — everyone uses these spaces at their own risk, and the Admin Office may close any facility for cleaning, maintenance, or an official building event.
Pool
Open daily 6:00 AM – 10:00 PMUse outside these hours is not allowed. Hours may change — watch the Bulletin Board for notice.
- For the exclusive use of residents and their immediate dependents.
- You may bring up to 2 guests at a time, and must stay with them the whole time.
- Guest fees are paid at the Admin Office. Swimming instructors count as guests.
- Minors must have a parent or guardian with them at all times.
- Domestic staff and household employees may not use the pool.
- No swimming during bad weather, especially at Storm Signal No. 2 or higher.
- Take due care — the deck can be slippery.
- The Admin Office may refuse entry to anyone with an infectious condition, open wounds, or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Everyone uses the pool at their own risk.
- Shower before you get in.
- Proper swimsuits and trunks only. No children in diapers.
- No shoes, slippers, stockings or socks in the pool.
- Change only in the changing rooms.
- Dry off and change before you leave — no wet swimwear in lobbies, corridors or public areas.
- No diving. No running or pushing around the pool.
- No rough horseplay or splash-bombing.
- No water polo or other unauthorised water activities.
- No glass. No food or drinks on the pool deck. No pets.
- Sound equipment at low volume only.
- First-come, first-served — chairs can't be reserved.
- Leave a chair unattended for over 30 minutes and, if someone else needs it, your claim may be given up.
- Aqua activities, swimming lessons and water sports need a written request and prior approval from the Admin Office.
- Security and the Admin Office may ask anyone to leave whose conduct is unsafe. Misuse may carry penalties.
Gym
Open daily 6:00 AM – 10:00 PMAll physical activity carries some risk — you use the gym and its equipment at your own risk.
- For unit owners, residents and tenants only. Guests are not allowed.
- Minor residents may use the gym only with a written recommendation from a parent or guardian.
- If you have a health concern or a history of high blood pressure, check with your doctor first.
- Warm up and stretch for at least 10 minutes before, and cool down after.
- Return dumbbells, barbells and free weights to their racks.
- Don't use free weights while you're on an aerobic machine.
- Wipe down every machine after you use it.
- When others are waiting: 20 minutes max on the aerobic machines, and don't rest on equipment between sets.
- Proper workout clothes, and closed-toe or rubber-soled shoes.
- Keep phones on silent, and any audio at a reasonable volume.
Board Room
By reservation onlyA quiet, air-conditioned meeting room on the amenity deck — for committee meetings, board sessions and small private gatherings. Reserve it, then it's yours for the booked time.
- For unit owners, residents and tenants.
- Guests are allowed only with prior approval from the Admin Office.
- Book through the Admin Office or Front Desk, on a first-come basis.
- Usage time may be limited depending on availability and demand.

- Keep it clean and orderly, and leave it as you found it.
- Any damage from misuse or negligence is charged to the responsible resident.
- No food or drinks unless approved in advance.
- No smoking, vaping or prohibited substances.
- No disruptive behaviour or excessive noise.
